Trylife Launches!

Here is is our brand, spanking new website and we reckon it looks pretty awesome. What do you think?

If you agree that it looks proper mint, you’ll be glad to hear that it doesn’t stop here. TryLife is in the process of creating a plethora of amazing features that will be added to the website over the coming months. That’s right, I said plethora.

This blog is a place for all things TryLife. We’ll be posting information about future TryLife events. Work has already started work on Episode 2 so make sure you check back here for more information about auditions in the near future.

Luckily for you, this blog is not just about promising future events. We’re here to illuminate the present with tidings of the current TryLife activities.

TryLife’s first episode is about Sophie Burton, a seventeen year old who is given the choice between going to a party and staying at home to revise. What choices will you make? Who actually framed Roger Rabbit? What will happen to Sophie? Two of these questions are up to you. (Spoiler alert: Roger Rabbit was framed by Judge Doom.) We could tell you what could happen but what’s the fun in that? You crazy kids want to TryLife for real, don’t you?

What we are going to do is take this opportunity to tell you about the Leg & Arm Wrestling Championship that features in one of Episode 1’s story routes.

Quite where Leg & Arm Wrestling originated is a mystery. There are those who believe it started in a Shaolin monastery during the Tang Dynasty. This is almost certainly not true. We’re pretty sure we created it.

The rules are simple; two competitors face each other in a tête à tête of Arm & Leg Wrestling goodness. One competitor uses their right arm; the other uses their right leg. Conversely, they use a left arm and a left leg. But don’t you ever try right arm against left leg – it won’t work and you’re going to look stupid. Don’t look stupid during an Arm & Leg Wrestle – that’s not a rule; it’s an etiquette. Actually… we’ve just made it a rule.

Rule Number 1:             Don’t mix rights and lefts.
Rule Number 1b:          Don’t look stupid in an Arm & Leg Wrestle.

These are the rules. Pretty simple, eh? Well, Arm & Leg Wrestling is a pretty simple game.
The competitor using their leg (henceforth known as the Leg Guy) lies on their back. The competitor using their arm (henceforth known as Rod Stewart) lies on their front. Rod Stewart then grips Leg Guy’s ankle. The pair then tries to wrestle their opponent’s limb to the floor. The first person to do this wins. It’s pretty much arm wrestling, only with a leg.
